Project Management: Project execution, monitoring and control (Modules 3 + 4)

Project management includes planning, execution, monitoring, and steering of projects. The “magic triangle” time, cost, and quality are reinforced by using project management methods and tools. This is vital to ensure the successful implementation of a project.

The following topics will be covered in this seminar:
- Project execution (Module 3)
- Project monitoring (Module 4)

Seminar Content:
A well-thought planning ensures that all participants know their tasks, deadlines and specified individual project goals. Project managers are responsible for taking the interests of all stakeholders into account. This module is an essential component for successful project execution. During execution, the target state is constantly compared with the actual state. In project controlling, deviations are corrected and countermeasures are initiated.

Goal:
You will learn how to organise and conduct a kick-off meeting. How to prepare an analysis of the project environment thus identify potential risks. Moreover, you will acquire skills for planning costs and time schedules. You will become familiar with monitoring tools, methods of information and communication as well as change management.
